Extended Backup Retention Now Live!

We're excited to announce an upgrade to our backup system!
Effective today, we have implemented a new backup solution that significantly extends the retention period for expired or suspended customer servers. Previously, backups were stored for 1.5 months - but with this update, we're now keeping them for over 6 months!
Summary of what's changing:- Old retention: 1.5 months
- New retention: 6 months
- Effective from: Today
- Applies to: Existing, expired and suspended customer servers
We’re always working to improve your experience and give you more peace of mind.
Please note we sill recommend customers to download their own backups from time to time. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our support team!

Minecraft 1.21.5 - Spring to Life - Update Released!

Great news, Minecraft 1.21.5 is now released and is automatically included on a new server install via the STIPE Control panel. You can also install it any time you like from the Installer and Modpacks section.
The Minecraft 1.21.5 update, titled 'Spring to Life', is officially released! This update brings exciting new content aimed at making the Overworld feel more dynamic and immersive. Here is a quick summary of what you can expect:
🌿 New Mobs and Plants
Six new mobs have been added, giving players more variety in their world encounters.
A wide selection of new plants helps bring more life and color to the Overworld.
🔧 Quality-of-Life Improvements
This update includes several gameplay refinements and bug fixes to enhance the overall experience.
It may not be the biggest update, but it lays the groundwork for more dynamic updates in the future.
🔥 Looking Ahead
Mojang has teased a future update focusing on the Nether and a rework of an infamous mob.
More themed updates are planned going forward, as well as a major 'Vibrant Visuals' graphical enhancement.

Minecraft 1.21.5 is Almost Here - Get Ready!
With the release of Minecraft 1.21.5 Release Candidate 1, the next official update is just around the corner!
We've been working hard behind the scenes, testing and tuning our servers to make sure everything is running smoothly and ready for the update.
As with every new Minecraft version, platforms like Spigot, Forge, Fabric, and others will take a little more time to update after Mojang's official release.
So if you're running a modded or plugin-based server - hang tight! These updates usually roll out within a few days to a couple of weeks.
But that doesn't mean you have to wait to play!
With STIPE Control Panel, you can create a new server profile running Minecraft 1.21.5 Vanilla and dive right into the action.
Your existing modpacks and plugin setups will remain untouched while you explore the latest features in a fresh environment!
Tips to Prepare for 1.21.5:- Although we have a robust backup time machine solution, its always good to download a copy of your server files before updating
- Avoid rushing into plugin/mod updates. Wait for official releases from developers to ensure stability.
- Take advantage of STIPE Control Panel's Server Profile Manager to create multiple isolated setups for Vanilla and Modded play.
We'll keep monitoring the release channels for Spigot, Paper, Forge, and Fabric, and we'll let you know the moment they're stable for Minecraft 1.21.5.

Minecraft 1.20.6 update released! Armored Paws drop! Travel to the Savanna and Badlands biomes and say hello to the endearing Armadillos. Find and befriend eight new Wolf variants and equip your canine companions with dyable armor made from Armadillo Scutes and go adventuring together!
On the technical side, the Armored Paws drop is also introducing a change to how Java Edition spawn chunks work. Making the spawn chunk radius a configurable game rule and decreasing the default value by 98% which will improve significant performance to players!

We have now added additional support for modpacks made via the Modrinth App.
Using the STIPE Modrinth Installer, it will deploy an existing modpack created by a community aswell as custom modpacks created by you. Simply upload the Modrinth mdpack file and click Install via the Modrinth Installer section of the control panel. -

The first Pre-release for Minecraft 1.20: The Trails and Tales update has been released. (Note: Pre-releases are the final stages of snapshots before the final release)
We now have a confirmation of the final release by 7th June (8th of June for Australia)
Rest assured STIPE servers have been stress testing and tweaking the up coming release to ensure maximum performance, stability and fast transition from older versions.

The long waited new generation of CPUs are here, Ryzen 7000 series! STIPE have acquired multiple 7950x and 7900x systems and have commenced testing & tuning in preparation for production release.
Server-grade hardware are still being manufactured so we may not see final release till early February 2023.
As part of the initial phase, the new upcoming CPUs will be under our Premium plans as an Ultra CPU upgrade option and are suited for those who have high demanding custom minecraft servers. It will also have improved world generation speeds and higher entity threshold. (Pricing TBA)

Minecraft 1.19.2 update has been released.
This is a urgent fix for Minecraft 1.19.1- Fixed an issue causing players to get disconnected with secure chat
- Fixed a crash in the social interactions screen

100% of Premium and Budget customers have been upgraded to Ryzen 5950x / 3950x & EPYC 7443 servers.
Making STIPE Servers Australia the largest supplier of the Fastest Minecraft server host in the southern hemisphere!

95% of Premium and Budget customers have been upgraded to Ryzen 5950x / 3950x & EPYC 7443 servers. We expect 100% in less than 2 weeks!
Updated 25/08/2021:
We now have multiple Ryzen 5950x running live with exceptional results! These premium servers pack a punch and over the next month we will have merged all existing premium customers to this amazing CPU!
Also big news for budget plan customers: You'll will be happy to know we are in the process of upgrading your CPUs with the new AMD EPYC 3rd Gen CPUs and ex-premium 3950x over the next few weeks! These may not be as powerful as 5950x but far better than current CPUs.

Minecraft has never been so popular over the past 6 months during tough COVID-19 times and we've had our hands full just trying to keep up with the demand! Our devs and support team have also been busy working on updates and features for you.
More Modpacks: Last month we've added more than 60 new modpacks (and updated just over 220 modpacks) from Twitch/CurseForge, AtLauncher and FeedTheBeast. We continue to add more packs as requested by our customers!
UI Improvements: We are constantly improving the control panel interface. Along with improved mobile phone and tablet support. While still not perfect, we are adding more improvements over the next few weeks so you can control, monitor and maintain your server from the comfort of your phone.
Hardware Improvements: One of our biggest achievements for this year is upgrading of our entire server infrastructure. With the introduction of our budget and premium servers, running one of the fastest + highest core CPU combo for a Minecraft server (AMD Ryzen 9 3950x), we've never seen such amazing results and feedback from our customers. We are proud to be the only Minecraft provider in Australia running such powerful CPUs

Minecraft 1.16.3 update released.

A small update, Minecraft 1.16.3 has been released including an update for Bedrock edition. (All Plugin builds such as Spigot are ready too!)
Updates include:- Giving an item and a gold ingot to a Baby Piglin and killing it no longer duplicates the item
- Pathfinding for Piglins, Piglin Brutes, Hoglins and Zoglins has been fixed and they can now correctly navigate to the player when attacking

Minecraft 1.16.2 Minor Update Released
Java Edition 1.16.2 is a minor update which adds piglin brutes, experimental support for custom biomes, and fixes bugs.
Bedrock edition 1.16.20, also updated, adds piglin brutes, as well as changes to sounds, block behaviours, technical changes, and bug fixes.
Please note, currently only Vanilla editions have been released. We are still waiting for Spigot for Java and Bedrock editions. For the time being, try not to update your clients until Spigot is released.
Edit: Beta update for Spigot 1.16.2 has now been released. Still waiting on PaperMC -
