Forge and Stipe
« on: 21 June 2014, 21:53:49 »
Hello I am writing this to ask for a little bit of help. A friend and I have purchased a server here
but we have no idea how to correctly use Forge for a server. Unlike Offline Forge there is no loader to put the
forge mods inside and when looking at the Files Folder there is no 'mods' folder... do we need to add one to get it working?
or am I missing something here?

Hi KeirSkunky,

Sorry for the delay - we didn't notice your post on the forums. You should put in a support ticket for questions like this as you will get a response in 5 mins.

I can't seem to find the server you are referring to but Forge does indeed work with a "MOD" folder. If its not there, it means that you are not correctly loading forge. Maybe you're still loading Vanilla? Check the control panel to see if you have activated Forge.

Once Forge is correctly activated, you'll need to start your server at least once to see the mod folder generate. Upload the mods as ZIP/JAR into this folder and restart server to activate! Easy.

You can use the online FILE EXPLORER to upload your mods or FTP.
